The Best Supplies for Crafters

The Best Supplies for Crafters

You have been asking for this list for a while, and I have started a list of some of my ALL TIME FAVORITES that I can not do without.  Hey, I'm Steph and Welcome to my blog.  I am a small business owner and laser crafter.  I am going to dive right in.  I will post links to these products but first, I am an Amazon Affiliate and I earn commission on qualified purchases.  I offer my blog free of charge filled with great tidbits and earning commissions is a way to keep them coming free, so I appreciate you using my links.

So let's dive in:

  1. Stick Fast Medium Tack - this is a product I use every day in my shop.  It is like super glue on steroids.  It is worth every penny if you have ever got that call from a customer that said something just fell off (Blank).  This will not fall off.  I have used it faithfully for 8 years now.
  2. Ultra Fine Brushes for Details - If you struggle with finding the right ultra fine touchup brushes this is it.  I use this to fill in any stencil bridges and they are great for fine details.
  3. Lint Free Shop Towels - These are disposable and are great for cleaning, staining wood, and wiping my hands or any over use of glue.  They are thick, durable and lint free.   You will see me using these blue towels on lives often.
  4. Folk Art Acrylic Paint -  The coverage is one of the best, it is smooth, and so many great colors.  Interior, exterior, metallic and more.
  5. 5/8" ribbon - for small projects I use this size ribbon and in so many colors.  I know you can buy ribbon locally but trust me you get more ribbon and darn near the same prices if not cheaper for less.
  6. Clear Sealer -  I use Satin, it allows a finish people can see and feel.  Matte is ok but if things rum marks tend to show.
  7. Cheek Brushes -  These brushes are the bomb when it comes to getting rosy cheeks.  They are small but mighty stencil brushes in three small sizes.
  8. Tim Holtz Crayons and the pack that you will use the most.-  This pack has multiple cheek colors, and some great colors for edging and blending.  I get a lot of use out of these particular colors for all my projects.
  9. Light for fine work -  So this is the best light I have found for video, photos, and to work under.  It has multiple colors of light which is nice for photos, but it is the best for being bright, and allowing you to record or snap photos of your work.  If you don't like to be on camera but want a light that is right over your projects and out of the way this is by far been my best purchase in 2025.
  10. Mylar -  This is made of PET material so safe to cut on the laser.  Making stencils is easy and this roll will last a good while, especially if making small projects.  But it is 12" W and 80ft long.

So these are by far some of my best supplies to pass on to crafters.  Remember that I am an Amazon Affiliate and earn a small commission for qualified purchase.  What that breaks down to is around 3% on average and if added to cart and purchased within 24 hours.  So help me out and be sure to click the link, add to your cart and check out within the 24 hours.  You can add additional items but these links on these products help me.  Add them to your next purchase.

Hope you give one or more of these a try soon, Happy Crafting.

Steph
