How to make money with your laser?

How to make money with your laser?

Making money, steady money, using your laser is the biggest question I get.  The answer isn't short.  I wish it was.  But If you are new here Hi, I'm Steph, small business laser owner for the past 7 years now.  You can check out other blogs I have written to get some really awesome ideas, business niches and tips to maintain your laser.  Making money is why we start a small business and building takes time.  But here are some great ways to move your business into successfully making money.

  1. Make samples and hit the pavement. - Visit boutiques, shops and talk to business owners.
  2. Create a gift guide and get it printed and mail, hand it out to everyone.  Business cards are nice, but you have to show them what you make.  Creating a gift guide lets them see what you can do.
  3. Markets - The cold hard truth is running a legit small business is work, and getting yourself out there talking to people and making sales is 100% the biggest part of your business.  If you can't do it, learn it.
  4. Online Shops - Etsy, Shopify, Square, GoImagine, Makersplace, are just a handful of places.  Look at your budget and get online.  Most people after Covid took to shopping online.  Don't fear it, learn it.
  5. B2B- Work some samples that are ways business can brand and gift to clients.
  6. Wholesale- Faire is one place online businesses can find products but if you have a website and offer this or want to then use your website.  BE SURE to get wholesale tax exempt documents before committing to prices.  Using a website that is Password protected for wholesale pricing.  Keep in mind to be competitive you need to price 50% below retail.  This means pricing needs to be inline.  I will  write an article explaining this in more detail so come back to check it out later this week.
  7. Social Media-  Facebook , Instagram, TikTok are a few live sales options.  Go live and sell what you make each week.

These are a few ways to make money with your laser.  I hope it gets you excited to dive in deeper.
