Don't Forget to Pack These on your Next Cruise
Share
Hi, Steph here and well if you didn't read my Cruise must haves you will want to go check that out. Today I want to warn you what you shouldn't forget to pack or it could ruin your cruise and your entire vacation.
Before I dive in I have to disclose that I am an amazon affiliate and I can earn commissions on qualified sales in this blog. I appreciate you using these links as this is how I earn and keep writing these valuable blogs.
So I bet you are thinking about the exciting trip you are about to go on. They are amazing BUT they can turn quickly if you don't pack these necessities.
First Waterproof everything you can. This includes cases for any technology you bring. I found THE Waterproof Case for all phones and has a separate pouch for extras. It fits all phones so no need to stress when you upgrade phones. I have bought a lot of these over the years of owning a mobile phone and this should have been around years ago. Seems like each time I upgraded my phone never fit when I needed to use it again.
The next gadget isn't really a big deal until you open your suit case and something spilled on all your clothes. These are silicone bottle covers and they don't come off easy. You have to peel them like a banana. These fit travel size bottles and you know me, color options so everyone stays organized. If you bring full-size bottles for those large bottles of things you gotta have this pack has some larger ones.
Okay let's talk about those things you better bring, and hope you don't need them. When was the last time you wore bathing suits nearly every day? AND had to walk a lot. A cruise ship is large, you might be in and out of the pools and walking back and forth to rooms, and buffets. You are going to want to bring this if you want to save your inner thighs. Friction Defense, in a rub on container. There is nothing more humiliating them duck walking everywhere.
OKAY, so FOOD, FOOD, and more FOOD. It can hit the hard rock stomachs too. Pepto Bismol chewable tablets are one item you want to pack in that emergency bag. The rough waters, the food, the late night fun it all catches up at some point so be safe. and well while we are talking about tummies if this is your first cruise or you want to prepare for rough waters you want to pack these Bonine some like Dramamine so I will link them both and you can check ingredients.
Okay, I am bringing these to you because the ship doctor is flooded with motion sick cases and same time, money and waiting if you are prepared. Now Sun safety, you know your skin, but always a good idea to but too much sun and the reflection of water can bring a burn on fast. A tip is to up your SPF higher than normal. Spend less time in the sun by taking breaks. But it can not hurt to pack Aloe after sun or Beach Defense50+ incase you get a bit too much. they also make 70+ Beach Defense if you are very easily burn. This aloe after sun is amazing. I dislike the sticky gels, and the heavy lotions and honestly this stuff numbs the sting., and I am not sure what all don't. Now lets not forget lips. Yes they burn too. Banana boat 50+ is my go to for anything on the water.
Okay so I feel like this is a lot of info and links and well if traveling in large group pack things like aspirin, band aides, a tide stick and even a small first aid kit. Sewing kits can be a life saver also. I want to make sure your Vacay is amazing because you deserve it to be.
I can not wait to hear about your cruise.
