Cruise Must Have | What you don't want to forget to pack

Cruise Must Have | What you don't want to forget to pack

Hi, Steph here with a vacation blog that anyone headed on a cruise must read.  This blog has links to my favorite cruise must haves and yes I am an Amazon affiliate and I earn commission on qualified purchases.  It is a small amount but helps keep my lights on most days.

So, if you are planning a cruise this year here are some of my all time favorite must haves.  Honestly you will be happy to hear them. It is easy to be over prepared but here is the thing I couldn't live without on a cruise.  I love the comforts of home no matter where I vacation and I know I am not the only one.

Did you know they do not have flavored creamers on cruise ships?  With all our Starbucks, 7Brew, and other coffee shops we have grown addicted to you would think they would supply this one luxury to help us.  So what can you do?  I found these on Amazon and in a pinch I think they are going to work.  Sweet Cream Pods

Did you know that all the walls on a ship are metal?  If you bring some high power magnets you can keep your room tidy.  Magnetic Clothes Line for hanging towels, and clothing if packing light. This link is the one I own and LOVE..

If you sleep with a ceiling fan or fans while you sleep I found the perfect one.  It is positional and YES Magnetic.  Pop this on the ceiling and turn it on.  Move it to a balcony if you have this option and bring in the sea breeze.   It is rechargeable, and has 5 speeds and compact but you will love the breeze.

When you pack for a cruise you don't want to carry on too much.  Small and mighty is key.  I like to pack light which means I need something to clean garments while on the ship.  My go to to keep it light is Sink Suds.    They are eco friendly and washing out clothes to hang in your cabin are a breeze with these.  I will not travel without them.

Speaking about dirty clothes and keeping the room tidy I can not go without mentioning this Pop up hamper.  Keep all the dirty laundry off the floor and many ships have laundry service.  Best of all they are available in colors which is great if traveling with kids, they are color coded to keep their space tidy.  They fold up and pack nicely in baggage.

Speaking of luggage, getting on and off the ship can take time.  You want to make sure to keep track of your baggage.  So clear Cruise tags are essential, Easy to read your deck, and room numbers so baggage doesn't get lost.  Security and Style.  No need to worry about your bags getting lost in the on or off boarding.

Now if you have never seen a bathroom on a cruise ship you are in for a surprise.  They are around the size of a camper bathroom and everything is inside. I can not stress enough that having small and mighty products that offer organization, can hang, and tidy your rooms in your cabin are a MUST.  That's why having a hanging toiletry bag   this one comes in different colors and is waterproof.  It is very spacious and perfect for all the family.  Packs easily in baggage, but also zips closed so it can be carried on or attached to luggage handles.

I can not forget to tell you about the razor.  Small but mighty and trust me you will need a razor.  Intuition Go  is compact and a real space saver.  All the extras too.  I can not travel without this compact gem.

All these can be found on Amazon so easily add them to your cart.  You can always come back here and find the links are you need to shop for them.

These are a few and I will be blogging another post soon about some of the simple things we overlook bringing on cruises but the list will have you prepared for most things you are not thinking about right now.

So come back for part 2.

Steph
